The footy league where the greatest tactical minds* in the world display their talents in the eternal quest** for the Crystal Premiership.

This is a play by email Australian football league. It is not reality and makes no claim to be. Thus it is best to forget about AFL when playing AFEL. The AFEL is also not your girlfriend’s brother’s best mate’s pbem league, so it is best not to think about that league while playing AFEL.

The league began in 1997 with a goal of simplicity and challenging gameplay. Those goals continue today through three commissioners and twenty seasons. This is a social game and many managers will be happy to discuss tactics or gameplay with you should you so desire. They are also self-proclaimed experts on the respective skill levels of South Australian football, the Victorian police force, and Nebraska Cornhuskers (all of which were much better in the good old days).
